Rob Zombie was a cartoonist
According to Variety, the Rob Zombie film The haunted world of El Superbeasto has yet to be released. All it says in the August 28, 2007 article, is that the film is upcoming. However, IMDB indicates it was released in May this year. There's another film that I've been waiting to watch but hasn't been released here in L.A. I don't know why all the films I'm interested in watching always seem to have problems on release date. Do I have to call my local theaters and complain the way Meryl Streep suggested in her Oscar award speech earlier this year.

I'm actually anticipating the new Halloween film. I love the series so I'm excited to see what Rob Zombie's interpretation is.

Is this a remake?

Whenever I see a new film being released with the same name and same characters of previous movies, the first thing to pop in my head is "sequel", but I'm wondering whether this one is simply a remake of the original Halloween movie, as interpreted by Rob Zombie. I am a bit interested to see how the soundtrack of anthem rock may effect the plot.

  • Love hurts–NAZARETH

  • Baby I love your way–PETER FRAMPTON

  • 1969–IGGY POP

  • Only women bleed–ALICE COOPER

  • Tom Sawyer–RUSH

  • Don't fear the reaper–BLUE OYSTER CULT

haha that rush song is great. it is his interpretation to Halloween. I read that on wiki. I'm sort of a teeter totter with Rob Zombie's films. I really loved the Devil Rejects but not House of 1000 Corpses. Maybe this Halloween will be a good film!
