In a last entry I'll probably ever read from Theresa Duncan's Wit of the staircase, I was directed to a New York Times news article by Kara Jesella which ran on July 8. Check out A hipper crowd of shushers which addresses the new librarian as a resourceful agent not just for impersonal information and quick answers, rather personal info and quicky answers.
By googling some keywords in the article, I found one of the cartoon blogs devoted entirely to the haps inside a library. Last week's saga seemed all too real, and though some of the puns tend to go over my head, I am truly impressed. Read strip for September 3 to 7.
