Ya know, for some reason that i
don't know of, i am thinking this:
you can take Adam&theAnts' song "Prince Charming," rename it "SlaveZombie," and you could make it your own....

I was confused because of the Gothic script.

The "First Nations" in Canada correspond to the "Native Americans" in the USA and "los Indios" in Mexico and South America. If we consider "America" to be the two continents from Ellesmere Island near the Arctic to Tierra del Fuego near Antarctica ,then there were and are many great First Nations/Native American civilizations to take into account - of which the Incas,Mayans,Toltecs and Aztecs are perhaps the best known. I greatly admire their Shamanism and respect for Nature .It's ironic that Mexicans in the USA are regarded "immigrants" when we look at place names :
Los Angeles,San Francisco,Nevada,Las Vegas,etc.

Cross posting

Sometimes I write my entries and post to handwritten_lj, and since I use http://www.flickr.com for this, it's easier for me to blog it to my journal first, then paste it/cross post onto handwrit_lj.

I believe that composition changes in style depending on the form used to write. I find myself constantly using the [<--BACKSPACE] button whenever I dictate straight to the keyboard, whereas an ink pen on paper usually gets edited as I transfer it to the screen. However, something like a calligraphy pen, which is ready for publication, typos and all, seems to be straight from the heart not only because of its appearance, but because impersonal factor is removed. Like having to tell one's boss that they have a second call on the telephone without interrupting her current conversation; so a note is provided for her to read.

That applies to handwriting style script like copperplate, spencerian and maybe even sutterlin. Writing in gothic is bizarre. I find myself speaking in my own voice, cursing and all.

That's absolutely fascinating ! Unity of form and content. Your'e lightyears above my head though.Technically , I'm still positively paeleolthic . If I may , I'd like to send that to a writer friend in San Diego who's very much into graffiti,Art Brut, etc.

I don't mind at all. It isn't a proven theory or anything close to being scientific. I never really thought of it in terms of graffiti writing, but I guess it could apply to all forms of writing. If I was a graffiti artist, I think I would be writing bigger and bolder, AND on a surface parralel to the ground so that I could view my artwork from a satellit like googlemaps.

Yes, I find also that writing with a pen is more "sincere," while typing leads to a degree of artifice.

I spent the morning on a wobbly stepladder gnawing at some roots that are protruding through the roof of my burrow. By scraping vigorously with my powerful front paws I was also able to dig out some succulent grubs.
