I thought the sex scenes involving Tara were funnnyy. Although this show does contain some nudity, another funny aspect of the show is how the characters of Jackie and Tara always manage to have plot lines that override the need for nudity (kinda as if seeing Laura Kightlinger in the nude would be the climax of humor itself) Jackie doesn't come off as much a nyphomaniac as Tara does. Jackie's more the abuser who doesn't know where exactly she's is, or what she's getting herself into. Great show. I'm hooked

What can justify my decision to watch TV again after swearing I would stay off TV and read until the WGA strike is over? I set up my TIVO to save two episodes of MAOJW. I've heard it said that film makers always try not to start a movie title with the word THE—those are the films that don't do well —but yesterday's episode made me laugh so much. After it's over and I shut off the TV, I start a fire in the fireplace and begin reading. During short breaks, I'll look into the flames, add a log or two, stare at the smoke, and out of the blue I burst out laughing. Obviously a result of recalling a one or two scenes from memory. As I say of all sitcoms now, the humour isn't as funny if it isn't directly about one's insecurities. Maybe I'll just swear off Big love 'til next year to compensate for the lack of obligation I have toward writers?
