Back in March I had to get rid of the aquarium and convert it into a terrarium. The 35 gal. tank was slowly leaking and maintenance for it was too much for me. I moved the guppies into the ten gal. tank along with the algae eater, which is now humongous. This is a link of an entry, which includes a photo, when I moved the humongous goldfish into the tub.

I thought it would be nice to show the gradual progress I'm making in the upkeep of pond maintenance. I'm sure it will just get more difficult the longer it keeps. Right now, everything is fairly new (and clean). New tub, new filter, new sticks, new chicken wire. I asked the guys at the nursery how they keep the water from getting so hot that the fish don't cook, but he just told me to cover it up. I might be able to place some kind of plant on the lid if the sticks I'm using to support it were a bit more stabilized.

At the same time, I'm learning to use my camera. I took a bunch of exposures until I was sure I got it right.

Have you seen what the new Miro Phantom camera can do? Jeez, I gotta put that on my wish list, but I'm guessing the price for something like that must run in the thousands. Check out the gallery of samples.
