Electric impulse
My MacBook Pro is giving me a tingly sensation around the edges where my palms rest. Does anybody have similar effects from using their laptop? I use to think it was just the heat from using my Mac practically 24/7, but when I touch the edge (side where discs are inserted), it isn't always warm/hot to the touch. It seems like the more sensative parts of my hand, inner wrists, tops of fingers are being shocked with electric impulses whenever I brush across this part of my 'puter. Should I get it checked out?

I want my electricity

You know what I've noticed? I have my laptop on for the same amount of time that I use it when I'm home and it doesn't seem to overheat at work the way it does at home. Of course, the electricity is grounded at work and now I'm concerned whether I might be lessening the life of my laptop because of the old electrical system I'm using. I just have to say how smart you seem to be to have hit the nail right on the head with your assumption about grounded electricity. I'm talking to the landlord and he says it will be taken under consideration.
