Does anyone ever notice, when eating outdoors, or when a pesky fly is indoors being a nuisance, that its flight plan almost always travels directly above a piece of food? I`m not sure whether flies can poop in mid flight, but every time I see a fly begging for a taste of my food I chase it away only to notice that it agreeably leaves, but not before making a pass directly above my food or drink.
I often wonder what I would do if the electricity gave out. Maybe I would be forced to handwrite my work, then transfer my writing onto the computer when the power returns. I found an old manual typewriter rumaged in the corner of the garage where I live and all it needed was a re-inked ribbon, a spray of WD40 on the hinges of the hammers, and reconnection of the @ symbol hammer. It works beautifully.
