flick comparison

Here's a bit of statistical comparison I did on current box office hits.

Between the films PASSION OF THE CHRIST and THE DA VINCI CODE, the budget difference in the making of the films was $95 million, the latter being more costly to make. Also interesting, the weekend gross dominator goes to PASSION with $6,848,082.00 more than what DA VINCI has taken in so far. This is a comparison chart of the steady increase that PASSION earned in box office sales. Do you remember how that film was classified as bloody and gory by the church? This probably discouraged a lot of would be movie goers to pay for a ticket and see the film.
Note that PASSION is green and it stops at day 54; whereas all the other movies continue earning sales for 70+ days and DA VINCI is not included in the graph yet.
