The social networks

I will not be intimidated by linking my blog entries to my Facebook, and whatever other social networks I've bothered to sign up for as a form of shout out. No, I realize the people closest to me who would normally not check the status of my lj account may find some of the stuff shocking and WTF-ish, but life's too complicated to post selectively in one blog. There is definitely a way to update my lj account and specify that I don't want Facebook to link. But I'm already posting conservatively by making some of my blog entries private which only my lj friends can view (total strangers, I might add, whom I've never had the pleasure of meeting in person).

Why do I do these things? It's a very thin line between knowing who your friends are. I mean, when there's relatives involved, we will always be there for one another. Or, so I understand. But a person can cross paths with their soul mate and not even know it. I'm still single so I never know if I might meet somebody I might be able to fall in love with. I think I still have my priorities straight. I'm all for marriage and/or living together. It's just, I lean more toward the 'you can't live with them' part of the old saying "women. Can't live with 'em, can't live without 'em".

But yeah. Although I have a shy personality, I'm very social minded.
