I think not…

This short clip of the six o'clock news team being facetious makes me want to become a journalist.

How pithy ! CNN is similar - with predictable bonhommie at the end of the sport segment every day .

I'm buildling an archive of news anchor Ana Garcia, whose biography actually describes her as native born of Spain (Madrid?), and with all the commercial breaks and miscellaneous news (weather, sports) that I edit out, I don't have any time to enjoy watching her give the news. It seems the purpose of building an archive in the first place has been lost.

That is a common name. Yep, the second link (imdb) is who I mean. It's ironic that both persons have degrees in journalism. The news anchor (also on CHANNEL 4) down here, however, got hers at St Johns University in New York. Before reading her biography, I'd never heard of St Johns before AND scenes from the film Accepted flash before my eyes. That and scenes from Day after tomorrow which supposedly contains news clips of her which don't look anything like her. People lie about their education all the time in this country to get ahead. I wonder if I'm really being naive to doubt everything I read.
