It makes me wonder whether a statement about the current health restructuring in this country wasn't a motive for the loss of such a heroic actress as Natasha Richardson. I am for Obama, and I was for Clinton, when I learned that health insurance would be restructured to cover all Americans, for back in `94, after two glasses of wine, I bumped into a street sign and opened a small gash in my brow. The parking attendant who helped by bringing me paper towels said I should let him call an ambulance, but I refused. They thought I might need a couple stitches, but I didn't have insurance so I declined. A simple band-aid would suffice.
Later that week, I felt a numb sensation on that side of my head where the brunt of the blow occurred, but I still didn't feel that I needed medical attention because I made it through the night. WARNING! Do not fall asleep after head trauma.
As far as I know, Canada has a universal health plan for their citizens; so where was the doctor immediately after Natasha was injured? Remember the movie Hannibal? Remember the scene where Hannibal slices off a piece of brain of his nemesis?
HANNIBAL: Paul, I told you, if you're going to be rude to our guests you'll have to sit at the kiddie tab
Hannibal goes on to explain to Clarice that the brain cannot feel pain. Go figure? Who knew?
But after I had my near death experience, I mean, the week after the numbness disappeared, that's when I began to suffer migrains. What's a migrain if it isn't a painful brain, right? But back to subject: universal healthcare.
I got out of Jury Duty. I got out of Jury Duty. nee-ner nee-ner neen-ner
Oops. Sorry about that. Ol` football injury.
Bill Richardson Bill Richardson Bill Richardson Bill Richardson.
There I go again. So, the news about the loss of Natasha Richardson was very sad and my prayers go out to the family and loved ones. It's truly sad that such a talented person should have been allowed to make such a serious decision when her thought process was questionable (compromised).
Another head hangs lowly, Child is slowly taken. And the violence caused such silence, Who are we mistaken? But you see, it's not me, it's not my family. In your head, in your head they are fighting, With their tanks and their bombs, And their bombs and their guns. In your head, in your head, they are crying... In your head, in your head, Zombie, zombie, zombie, Hey, hey, hey. What's in your head, In your head, Zombie, zombie, zombie? Hey, hey, hey, hey, oh, dou, dou, dou, dou, dou... Another mother's breakin', Heart is taking over. When the vi'lence causes silence, We must be mistaken. It's the same old theme since nineteen-sixteen. In your head, in your head they're still fighting, With their tanks and their bombs, And their bombs and their guns. In your head, in your head, they are dying... In your head, in your head, Zombie, zombie, zombie, Hey, hey, hey. What's in your head, In your head, Zombie, zombie, zombie? Hey, hey, hey, hey, oh, oh, oh, Oh, oh, oh, oh, hey, oh, ya, ya-a...
